January 13, 2011-Martha Young Award to be Presented to THRIVE at January 13 CCUIF Grant Awards Presentation

Canyonville, Oregon..... Martha Young was Executive Director for the Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation from its founding in 1997 until her death in 2006. Since then, the CCUIF Board of Directors periodically presents the Martha Young Award to an organization that seems to particularly exemplify Martha's philosophies.

January 13, 2011-Sutherlin FFA Alumni Receives CCUIF’s Buss Rondeau Award

Canyonville, Oregon....Buss Rondeau,who passed away in 2000, was a founding member of the Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation (CCUIF) as well as a member of the Cow Creek Tribal Board. Since his death, the CCUIF Board of Directors has presented the Buss Rondeau Award to a non-profit organization whose goals, "…most closely adhere to the spirit of Buster Rondeau." The Award is not presented at every CCUIF round of giving.

January 7, 2011-Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation Awards $444,587 to 53 Non-Profits

Canyonville, Oregon............On Thursday,January 13, 2011, at 10 a.m., at Seven Feathers Convention Center in Canyonville, the Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation (CCUIF) will award $444,587 to 53 non-profits from seven counties in southwestern Oregon. Once again, in its 28th round of giving, the CCUIF continues the Cow Creek Tribal tradition of giving to community.

June 24, 2010 - Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation Awards $451,949 to 51 Non-Profits

Canyonville, Oregon……….Giving to community is nothing new to the Cow Creek Tribe.  The Tribe formalized this long time tradition in 1997 by establishing the Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation (CCUIF).  On Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at 10 a.m., at Seven Feathers Convention Center in Canyonville, the CCUIF will award $451,949 to 51 non-profits from seven counties in southwestern Oregon.
